The life of the aluminum foil container mould refers to the number of production times (the number of times of stamping and the number of moldings) that the mould can achieve under the premise of ensuring the quality of the workpiece. It includes repeated sharpening and replacement of consumables until the main part of the mold is replaced by the total number of qualified parts formed. Generally, the number of used aluminum foil container mould is about 1 million to 2 million times.
The service life of the mould is related to many factors such as mould structure design, mould steel selection, heat treatment, surface treatment, mechanical processing and grinding, wire cutting process, stamping equipment, stamping materials and processes, mould lubrication, poor maintenance and other factors. Among the various factors that cause mold failure, the mould structure is unreasonable, improper selection of materials accounts for about 25%, improper heat treatment accounts for about 45%, and process problems account for about 10%; equipment problems, lubrication problems and other factors account for about 20%.
