Flexographic printing is a direct printing method with a wide range of applications. Almost all paper and plastic packaging products can be printed using flexographic printing, among which ECG paper is printed using a flexographic printing machine.
Flexible printing machines have the following advantages:
1. The ink layer is thick and consistent in color. Although the ink layer of flexographic printing is thinner than that of gravure printing, it is definitely thicker than offset printing, which is very beneficial for printing large area color blocks commonly seen in packaging products; Due to the use of anilox rollers for ink transfer, generally speaking, if the paper condition remains unchanged and the ink condition remains unchanged, the ink color of both the same and different batches of products can remain consistent. This is the most basic requirement for packaging printing and is also something that offset printing methods cannot easily achieve.
2. Use non-toxic water-based ink for printing. Therefore, flexographic printing, also known as green printing, is widely used in instrument and pharmaceutical packaging.
3. Wide range of suitable printing materials. Flexographic printing machines can not only print various types of paper, but also print aluminum foil, plastic film, self-adhesive notes, woven bags, breathable film, metal foil, non-woven fabrics, and textiles. There are more types of materials suitable for printing than gravure printing.
