1. Food wrapped in PE cling film cannot be directly heated
The ingredients of PE cling film ause carcinogens when heated in a microwave oven. Therefore, before heating, it is recommended to remove the cling film. For food preservation, it is best to use porcelain dishes or stainless steel containers.
2. Not all foods are suitable for the use of PE cling film
Vegetables and fruits with a lot of water are suitable for PE cling film, such as apples and pears. These vegetables and fruits use cling film, which not only prolongs the preservation time, but also increases some of the nutrients.
However, it is best not to use PE plastic wrap for radishes, cucumbers, and beans, because the vitamin C contained in vegetables will decrease after a period of time.
